The Super Falcons of Nigeria will play Ghana in the semi-finals of the WAFU Women’s Cup of Nations in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, according to reports.
The Super Falcons began their campaign with a 1-0 win over Mali, before thrashing Senegal 3-0 and defeating Togo 3-1 to comfortably win their group and qualify for the last four.
Ghana started with a 1-0 defeat to Cote d’Ivoire but finished second in the Group B with 4-1 thrashing of Burkina Faso on Sunday.
According to the tournament website, Nigeria and Ghana will battle for a spot in the final at the Treichville Sport Park on Thursday from 8pm Nigerian time
The hosts will take on Mali at the same venue and day in the other semi-final
